Just a decent option for a flash stay in Halifax with good price-value balance. The staff was really nice and helpful, especially when they provided me with take-out options during my stay. For better sleep, ask for softer pillows before settling in.

The location is fantastic, just a short
walk to multiple restaurants and the beautiful public gardens. The room was cozy and clean, but I did find the elevator service a bit lacking during peak hours, which was frustrating.

The location of The Lord Nelson is perfect, right across from the Public Gardens. I appreciated the historic charm of the hotel. My room had a cozy sitting area and tea and coffee facilities, which were nice touches. The staff offered exceptional service. they were friendly and helped with restaurant recommendations. However, the bathroom in my Classic Queen Guestroom felt cramped, and the shower curtain was too short, causing water to spill onto the floor. I encountered a few issues with the toilet that caused me sleepless nights, needing to flush frequently. Despite these inconveniences, I loved sitting outside with a coffee on the patio. The dining options were decent, though I wish there had been quicker snack options available. I would consider staying here again, but I hope they address some of these maintenance concerns.

Comfortable bed, but rough check-in
The bed was a dream, and the staff genuinely cared. I loved ordering room service for breakfast—the avocado toast was a highlight of my mornings!
The check-in process was chaotic. I waited over 25 minutes despite doing online check-in. Plus, the AC wasn’t functioning well and just blew cold air.
